I have been intrigued by stories from people who received messages from Spirit for a very long time. I just didn’t think I was GETTING any of those messages for myself. A few years ago I read Pam Grout’s book, E2, and was delighted to see that she had a series of experiments I could do to recognize the presence of that guidance in my own life.
The second experiment, The Volkswagen Jetta Experiment, seemed a perfect start. For 24 hours, I would choose a certain color car and see how it showed up. Being a “pink” girl, I decided to choose that color–and after all, there aren’t a ton of pink vehicles on the roads, right? I decided to formulate a question as I left home to run an errand. The Universe would certainly answer with a pink car sighting, right?
Well, much to my surprise, a little pink car zoomed by while I was waiting at a stop light…less than a mile from my house!
I was hooked on this little experiment and began to notice how many times pink vehicles showed up in my world. It always made me smile and felt like a pat on the back from my Guides. To date, I have seen pink cars of all types (not just Mary Kay Cadillacs either), pink semis, Hummers, and even a pink bus–in Korea, no less! I’m thinking there is even a message in the pink Jeeps that are everywhere in my favorite destination, Sedona.
I feel much more connected to Spirit these days and while I don’t ask to see pink cars as often, the Universe still pops in to let me know how connected we are. Recently I had been talking to my guides about an intuitive course I was taking. On the way to my office the truck in the picture pulled in front of me.
It’s so easy to dismiss these messages. I initially thought I’d see these trucks everywhere–it was a phone company vehicle. BUT I haven’t seen another before or since. I know that message was just for me.
